Paul May – From Over Here

From Over Here is a project by Irish designer, Paul May. He does a lot of physical interactive and sound work, take a look at his website.

This piece is a physical chart of how often the word ‘Ireland’ was used in New York Times articles, from 1992 to 2010, with some additional information about the topics of the articles etched into the cardboard bars. It is good to see that data can be accurately communicated on a 3D level, it seems like a wonderful piece and I would have liked to see it in person!
